Ride the logger! The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad takes you on a ride through history aboard a genuine shay geared steam locomotive through the beautiful Sierra National Forest. Our one hour narrated excursion travels a four mile round trip and includes a stopover to enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the locomotive crew service the engine. Daily steam trains operate seasonally April through October. "Moonlight Special" BBQ dinner trains run during the summer months on Wednesdays and Saturdays in June, July, August, and just on Saturdays in September.
