DW&T is a home owned and operated business built from the ground up in 1998 by Tom Wylie, his wife Suzanne and two sons, Justin and Andrew. All four work everyday at the different locations assuring you, the customer, that an "owner" is always on premises. Tom was in the auto parts industry over 20 years prior to opening his first DW&T and has been to hundreds of tire stores in multiple states. These experiences are what prompted Tom to build his own locations. One of his pet peeves is to walk into a retail sales location and observe sales people "unexcited, almost put out to have to stop what they are doing to wait on a customer". Tom promises you will NEVER see that happen at one of his stores. DW&T sales personnel have each been trained by Tom himself and will be so friendly we think that you will tell others. You see, that has been Discount Wheel & Tire's most successful form of FRIENDS TELLING FRIENDS! After opening their first store on Summerhill Road in Texarkana, it became apparent that another location was needed. So, Tom bought the DW&T in nearby Atlanta, and proceeded to bring that store up to their superior standards.
Five Years later they were "bursting at the seams" and opened their third location on West 7th Street in the former Doolin's Harley Davidson. Currently there are three great locations, tons of showroom space and over thirty employees who average having worked for DW&T for over 8 years!
