Queens Community House serves residents of all ages, races and ethnicities while supporting the viability of neighborhoods and Queens as a whole. QCH began in 1975 as Forest Hills Community House and has expanded its reach over the years. Today, we provide programs for residents in 25 program sites in 11 neighborhoods. Since our beginning, we have helped thousands to thrive in school and make healthy life choices, to succeed in educating themselves and become engaged neighbors, to stabilize their housing situation, and to make the most of their senior years.
We are committed to listening and understanding the emerging needs and challenges of the diverse groups we serve; translating those challenges into programs that engage, empower, and create a sense of inclusion and purpose. We offer residents opportunities to change their lives for the better and to become active participants and leaders in their larger communities.
