We have two Sunday Morning services: one at 8:30 AM and one at 10:45 AM. They typically run about an hour and fifteen minutes (give or take a few minutes).
What should I wear?
Come as you are! At Esther Baptist Church, you will see anything from very casual to somewhat dressy. What you wear isn’t really important. We are more concerned for you as a person than for what you wear!
What kinds of things do you do in your services?
We usually begin with an opportunity to welcome new guest, followed by giving an opportunity for others to sow into what God is doing here through a time of offering. Then we pause and turn to God and intercede for many things that are our on hearts. Once we pray we greet each other in the name of the Lord and then we have a time of music and singing, followed by a message and then concluded by a time where people can pray together or individually. Sometimes there might be a video, a story from an individual of how God is moving in their life, a special song or a skit that has been prepared by our drama team.
What is the music like?
There is a wide age-range of people who attend Esther Baptist Church, and the music reflects that. On any given Sunday you will probably hear both classic hymns and current worship songs.
Do you have anything for kids?
We sure do! We have age appropriate Sunday School classes: Baby (ages 0-2), Toddler (ages 2-Pre-K), Kindergarten, Grades 1-2, and Grades 3, 4 and 5. We also have a children’s church that is in session during the second service on Sunday morning. The classes are all run by volunteers who love God and love kids!
How big is the church?
Typically, we have about 100 in our 8:30 AM and about 200 in our 10:45 AM service.
Do you Meet any other time besides Sunday mornings?
We have bible study and worship on Sunday Night from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and bible study on Wednesday night for all ages from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
