George has been cooking since he was younger under the direction of his father and brothers at Metro Catering, which his father began in 1957. In addition to working at Metro Catering, George worked for fifteen years teaching Culinary Arts at the Beaver County Career & Technology Center, in Center Township. He spent his evenings working as an instuctor at the Culinary Arts program at Community College of Beaver County.
In 2005, he decided to expand and opened the Metro Grill in Center Township, offering Beaver County the same Metro Catering gourmet food in generous dinner portions, as well as offering catering, which is George's specialty. George and his family have catered numerous business and personal events feeding as little as twenty people, and as many as 2,000 people.
For the past 57 years, the Metro family has been cooking up the same delicious food, and will continue for years to come. We promise you will love our food!
