Gulf Coast Health Center is a private, non-profit community based organization. We are partially funded through grants, including funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration. This allows us to supplement our services by sliding patient fees. We use a sliding fee scale based on poverty guidelines set by the Department of Health and Human Services. We also accept various major insurance plans that include BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIPS.
Donations from individuals and private foundations give us the opportunity to offer our patients affordable rates. Our goal is to make healthcare available and attainable for everyone throughout Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Newton, and Jasper counties.
