We pray today and tomorrow for safe travels for all those who will be making the pilgrimage to Oklahoma City for the Beatification Mass of Fr.(soon to be Blessed!) Stanley Rother. What a historic day in the life of all Catholics in Oklahoma!!! Here is some basic info on the event: The Beatification Mass is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. On Wednesday, September 20th, Holy Family Cathedral will be having Fr. Don Wolf, priest of Oklahoma City, speaking at our weekly Wednesdays at the Cathedral program. Fr. Wolf is the cousin to Fr. Stanley Rother, and he will be speaking of his own personal interactions with Oklahoma's first martyr and official saint. This will be taking place three days prior to Fr. Stanley's beatification and as such, this will be an excellent opportunity for the lay faithful in the diocese of Tulsa to learn more about Fr. Stanley's life. On that day, Mass will be offered at 5:05 p.m., followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 5:30 p.m.-6:20 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the actual program beginning at 6:30 p.m.
