What to expect at Immanuel: We know that going to a new place can be intimidating and scary. How will I know where to park? Is there something for my kids? Where are the bathrooms? What should I wear? We’ve asked those questions too. Please know we will make every effort to make sure your first experience is worry free. We look forward to hanging out with you and becoming friends.
Where is Immanuel located? Our address is: 1400 N. Texas Blvd. Alice, Texas 78332.
Where should I park and enter for worship? We have plenty of parking, but the truth is, the campus can be pretty confusing with a lot of different doors and parking areas. While we work to improve our signs and entry ways, here's what we would suggest for you as a first-time guest: Enter the parking lot from Texas and park on the west side of campus. Enter the Fellowship Center through the double doors on the south side of the building.
What is worship like? Worship at Immanuel is all about Jesus Christ, crucified and risen! At every Sunday worship service you will have the opportunity to sing, pray, hear relevant Biblical teaching and fellowship with our people. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first and third Sunday of the month and on special Sundays. Occasionally there will be Baptisms during the service or testimonies from individuals or missionaries. Each service is approximately 60 minutes in length. We have greeters and assistants at every worship service who are there to serve and assist you. If you have a question or need assistance, please ask!
Is there something for my kids? Yes! At Immanuel we value families and want to serve you and your kids! We are always working hard to grow this area of our ministry • Worship together - We welcome children in all of our worship services! • Children’s messages every Sunday. • Classes every Sunday for children. • Day Camp every June.
Are there Adult Bible Studies? Yes! We have Adult Bible Studies each Sunday at 9 and 11 AM! We also have small groups that meet throughout the week.
What's the "dress code?" We believe that God is more interested in your heart than what kind of clothes you wear. At Immanuel you'll see a wide variety of clothing. Some people prefer to "dress-up," but many of us wear jeans, our Pastor dresses in business casual. Choose some comfortable clothes and come see us!
