Motorcycle Specialties originated in the spring of White and Gilbert Galvan pooled their money,which totaled $ , rented a building,started ordering parts and repairing reputation soon spread and had customers coming from all over the big country as well as Pearl Mississippi, El Paso, Odessa Wichita Falls,and Oklahoma. Gil left in 1985. Jerry ran the shop by himself until August of 1986 when Lisa came to work, as bookkeeper, bike detailer ,and Jerry is still working on bikes and Lisa is waiting on customers, doing book work and buying everything a motorcycle rider needs to stay warm and dry and comfortable. Many of the original customers [and friends] of Motorcycle Specialties still shop here love meeting new people and will make them feel welcome. Jerry and Lisa ride motorcycles on long road trips , so they have a vast knowledge of what works and what doesn't. Come by check them out, the building is small but surprising what you find inside.
