Bailey opened in July of 2001 as northern Nevada’s first Title I Charter Elementary School. Each year we strive for excellence as measured not only by our Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) score from the No Child Left Behind Act, but also by our graduates returning from middle and high school. We believe those students provide the truest sense of long-term success.
BAILEY’s school philosophy is based on the simple concept of building a community of learners. In this community, the staff, students, and parents work together to create a learning environment that will promote success for all students. Working with each child at his or her developmental stage, we try to stimulate and sustain the kind of motivation and wonder that a child possesses when he or she enters kindergarten.
Our goal is to instill in each student the desire as well as the means to make sure that learning never ends. Our founding core beliefs serve as the foundation for what and why BAILEY offers what it does and they drive future decisions for any possible changes. Bailey's goal is to be "The School Your Child Deserves.”
