Our Statement of Beliefs:


1. God is the almighty, loving Creator of life, the universe, and everything in it. He is Triune in form, that is, One God-three parts: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is to be worshiped in spirit and in truth. See 4:23-24


2. Jesus Christ is God's only Son. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, unjustly suffered and died on a cross to pay for the sins of all people, after three days in a tomb He arose from the dead, was seen by hundreds of people, then went back to heaven. Jesus will return to take true Christians with Him and reign in glory, forever in the city of God.


3. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Counselor, and Comforter. He also convicts us of sin. See 16:7-11


4. Sin is what condemns mankind to hell. God offers salvation from hell only through faith in Christ Jesus. Eternal life and the promise of heaven is only available by repenting and confessing your sin to God, then believing in Jesus Christ by asking Him to live in your heart and control your life. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." Romans 10:9-11


5. The Bible is the inerrant Word of God, written by men who were inspired by God's Holy Spirit. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 1 Timothy 3:16
