Decatur Human Services was organized in 1987 to promote and co-ordinate the distribution of emergency assistance to people of all ages, without regard to race, religion, sex, or ethnic origin. Our main emphasis is on providing food, clothing, utilities, medicines and auto fuel on a short-term basis. We are a non-profit organization as defined by Section 501(c)3 of IRS regulations. Our service area is the Townships of Decatur and Hamilton and the Village of Decatur in Van Buren County, Michigan.
