Acts 16: 6-7, "Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not." Paul went about preaching, teaching, witnessing and church planting. These churches were established in faith and grew numerically daily. Paul decided to go into Asia to preach and plant, but the Spirit said no. Paul decided to go to Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit it to happen. What are you doing today? Where are you today or where are you going today? Have your plans been changed? Are you saddened because plans made have not come to fruition? Take heart, cheer up, God has a better plan for you today. If you've trusted your eternal soul to God, then you can trust Him with what you are doing and where you are going today. Trust Him, He won't lead you in circles like a GPS unit in the middle of a parking lot! God has you today exactly where He needs you. Be open and alert to what He wants you to do. Your plans have been changed for the better by God's loving hand. Heavenly Father, thank You for taking care of us and leading us to where we need to be every day. In Jesus name. Bro. Danny

Mark 5:36, "Be not afraid, only believe." Jesus was not saying to Jairus that there was nothing to be afraid of. Jesus was simply and lovingly telling him to have a belief in Him greater than his fear. Are you fearful today? Do you have friends or family that live in areas affected by the recent hurricanes? Maybe you fear for them. Has a loved one recently suffered a sudden illness? Maybe you fear for them? Do you have a child who is venturing out into the world and are spreading their wings to fly? Maybe you fear for them. Are there troubles within your family? Maybe you fear for your family today. You see problems are very real. Real problems make us afraid. What Jesus is saying to you this morning is, "Believe in Me! I am bigger than your problem!" Whether it is a friend in need, a storm in the sea or a storm in your family, Jesus is bigger than those problems. Whether you are sick, a family member is sick or a friend is sick, He is bigger still! If you've experienced the death of a family member, the break up of a friendship or the loss of a job, yes, He is bigger than those problems too. Carry your problems to Jesus in prayer, lay them at His feet. He can take care of the problems and you too...only believe...all things are possible...only believe. Heavenly Father, thank You again for caring for us. In Jesus name. Bro. Danny

Philippians 2:15, In the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world." Christians are to be lights in a world darkened by sin. A Christian should live his/her life in such a way that another person could not be around them without knowing they are a Christian. Their conversations should be about Christ who saved them and His beloved church that they serve in. They should as lights point the only Way to safety, to Jesus. Lost people, without the light of Christians, will surely wreck their lives upon the rocks of sinful living. Christians should shine their lights as a warning. All around us are the pitfalls of the devil. We must shine the true light of Christ upon the falsehoods the devil uses to bring lost sinners to ruin. We, as Christians, must shine our lights in order to have a comforting effect on this world. A Christian should be kind, sympathetic, joyous and happy wherever he goes. Peoples's days should be brighter because their lives crossed the path of a Christian. I pray today that person who needs guidance, a warning, cheering up or pointed to Christ will cross your path today. If they do...let your light shine! Heavenly Father, help us to take the bushel basket off of our light and let our light shine brightly for You. In Jesus name. Bro. Danny
