My name is Mike Bakker and I have been working in the heating and air conditioning field since I was 16. My dad owned a heating and air conditioning business on the south side for which I worked for several years before moving to DuPage County. I worked for a few larger companies in the area, both as a Service Technician and as a Service Manager, doing residential and commercial work.
In 2005, my dream of owning and running my own business became a reality. The former owner of Pent-Air, Inc. (a Naperville business for over 30 years) sold his business to me in the interest of retiring in a few years. We changed the name of the business and it is now Dutchman Heating and Cooling, Inc. We are a Christian owned business and have been since 1975.
Utilizing my 30+ years of technical experience as well as conducting extensive research, I have found the American Standard product line to be the best in the industry. I firmly believe in the quality of these products. While I work on many different types of equipment, I have found the American Standard product line to be exceptional and to aid in efficiency. I consistently use them for replacement of existing equipment or adding new equipment.
