We, in the Enrichment/ Activity Department believe that this is the residents' home and that we treat it as such. It is a privilege to KNOW them and SERVE them. We are here to improve their QUALITY of LIFE through our INTENTS, WORDS and ACTIONS.
We do this through our many programs. We have music programs with our regular performers, John Pickle: guitar and nut, Herm Loch: our accordion polka king, David Putano: music therapist and our mellow fellow and Circle of Friends: our own Gaither type group. We are truly blessed to have these wonderful performers. We also have other groups that come in from time to time. We have many games. Wii golf and Deal or No Deal, cards including WOOHOO, dice games including our own Tokeno, Word games like crossword puzzle, proverbs, Outburst and of course BINGO!!!! We have story time with Beth a faithful volunteer for many, many years. We have bible studies, Catholic Mass and visits, Protestant communion services, Precious Memories memorial services. We have a monthly movie night with popcorn and pizza. we have our own craft room with craft time throughout the month. We have a tri-weekly sittercise program. We also have our Mitchell's Zany Ladies Red Hat Club.
