Now celebrating 40 years, Mounts Botanical Garden is Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest botanical garden with more than 2,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants. Located behind Palm Beach International Airport, the Garden is a hidden gem that is being discovered every day! The Garden's 14 acres include 25 unique garden areas with everything from flowering trees and shrubs, to tropical fruit trees, bromeliads, palms, herbs, a vegetable garden, butterfly garden, rose garden, and much more. The Garden's centerpiece is beautiful Lake Orth where visitors can stroll the overlooks to see the koi and turtles that are in abundance.
