Formed in 2002 by James F. Penland, Paul Schaeffer and Tracy Cinder the Ocean City Fine Arts League has become a vessel for community arts projects, hosted smaller art organizations, promoted and trained individual artists and created outreach programs and events for the community at large. The main objective of the League is to educate the public about the arts through internal exhibits and external events, to provide a facility to nurture artists in their development and to showcase local talent.
