This week, we are excited to host patients and staff from New Day Adult Care Center, located at Faith Lutheran Church in North Palm Beach. Following Hurricane Irma, their building lost electricity, but they still wanted to provide their patients with a place to go. Working together, we were able to provide service to 14 New Day patients, along with their staff, at our Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Day Centers. Like ACC, New Day operates a Licensed Specialized Adult Day Care Center. It is our pleasure to host them until their building is fully operational once again. We are so happy to work with our community partners following Hurricane Irma to ensure that Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers receive the help they need. #AlzCare #HurricaneIrma

It was a pleasure having our friends from the Palm Beach County Community Services Department Division of Senior Services at our Headquarters today. Although Hurricane Irma may have displaced some of us, you can rest assured that working together we will make sure that seniors, Alzheimer's patients and family caregivers get all the help they need. #alzcare #hurricaneirma

Due to Hurricane Irma, all ACC Specialized Adult Day Care Centers will be closed on 9/12/17. We apologize for the inconvenience. We anticipate that day care operations will resume on 9/13/17. However, this will be subject to conditions on the ground. If you have a loved one who attends one of our day cares, you will be contacted by either a Program Nurse, Program Manager, FNC or ACC staff member concerning operations. If you have any questions or concerns, you can call ACC Headquarters at 561-673-2700 between 8 AM and 5 PM on Tuesday 9/12/17. After 5 PM you can contact ACC on the Crisis Line at 1-800-394-1771. Please check ACC's website for additional information. www.alzcare.org
