달라스지역에 오랜 역사를 가지고 있는 세계선교교회는 1980년 8월 하나님의 특별한 부르심을 받은 이민1세 신인훈목사님에 의해 개척되었습니다.
이 후 약 사반세기 이상 달라스 인근지역과 세계도처의 잃은 영혼을 구원하고 그들을 제자삼는 일에 힘써 왔습니다. 그러던 중 지난 2005년 1월 30일 그 동안 사역하시던 신인훈목사님이 중남미선교라는 하나님의 또 다른 부르심에 순종함으로 교회는 그를 선교사로 파송하고 이근무목사님을 제2대 담임목사로 세웠습니다.
현재 교회는 성도들을 사역자로 세우는 일에 목회사역의 우선순위를 둔 담임목사님과 함께 "만남, 변화, 그리고 행복이 있는 세계선교교회"를 만들기 위하여 팀사역과 목장사역을 주축으로 사역2기의 새로운 장을 하루하루 열어가고 있습니다.
