Seal Swim School

We have locations in Lutz, South Tampa and Wesley Chapel/New Tampa. The Riverview location is projected to open in 2017.

Every member of Team Seal is extensively trained, enthusiastic and kid approved! Seal Swim School is proud to employ the best swim instructors and customer service team in the Tampa Bay area.

Our instructors are certified in CPR, First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, and Lifeguard Training. Each Team Seal member participates in continuing education trainings to stay current with the latest teaching trends and techniques.

Seal Swim School is a member of the United States Swim School Association and Swim Australia.

Seal Swim School teaches swimming, safety, and survival in all of our classes. Water Safety education is an integral part of our program. The Greater Tampa Bay Area has the 4th largest drowning rate in the state. Participation in formal swimming lessons reduces the risk of drowning by 88% among children under the age of 4.

In addition, Ms. Therese, founder and owner of Seal Swim School, was determined to write a children’s book on water safety. In 2006, she published the first edition of SWIM SAFE LITTLE SEALS. The book was so successful she published a Spanish version in 2010.

Water safety education is an integral part of our program. Seal Swim School has given free presentations to thousands of preschool and elementary age children in the Tampa Bay area.

Additionally, we offer free water safety presentations to our local hospitals, mom’s groups and special events.
