Established in 1900 by Earnest Mynatt in Halls Cross Roads, TN. After his death in 1929, his son, Kyle H. Mynatt moved to Fountain City, TN, which is now Knoxville. The present location at 2829 Rennoc Road has been operating there since 1936. In 2005 Mynatt Funeral Home inc. expanded to a second location back to Halls Cross Roads very near to its original beginning, located at 4131 East Emory Road. Bud and Mary Coomer have worked at Mynatt since 1948, 65years.
