The WCA Home is a not-for-profit Adult Home with an Assisted Living Program (ALP) license. ALP facilities were created by New York State for people who need more care than an Adult Home, but don't need full-time skilled nursing. By staying here as they advance in age, our residents pay half the cost that a nursing home would require. The WCA Home has been in Fredonia since 1892 and has a rich history connected to the village's 19th Century roots. Overseen by the Women's Christian Association (11-member board of directors), this Victorian home has a homey feel and charm that separates us from all other adult homes.
