LOST & FOUND Our shelter accepts stray dogs, cats, and livestock from the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. We maintain lost and found records and actively work to reunite pet owners with their lost companions.
REHOMING Our shelter accepts surrenders of dogs and cats from owners who reside in the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. We evaluate each animal and attempt to place him or her in a new home.
ADOPTION Our shelter offers dogs, cats, and livestock for adoption. Staff and volunteers are available to assist you in choosing a new pet for your family.
FIELD SERVICES Our Animal Control Officers provide animal control field services to the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County including the Stanford Campus. Animal Control Officers are available 7 days a week and are dispatched from our field office in San Martin weekdays from 8 to 5 and weekends 8 to 4:30 For field services, call 408-201-0660.
For emergency services after hours when the office is closed and on holidays, please call 911.
EUTHANASIA Our shelter offers humane euthanasia for dogs and cats who are ill, elderly, or aggressive. Please call in advance to make sure a euthanasia technician is available.
VOLUNTEER Our shelter has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
REFERRALS Our shelter provides referrals for low-cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other services not provided by us.
