Central Prairie Co-op was formed on March 1, 2014 by the merger of the Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company of Nickerson, Kansas, and the Farmers Cooperative Union of Sterling, Kansas. The cooperative will consist of sixteen locations, providing a full-range of services including grain storage, self-service gas facilities, full-service gas stations, feed milling, animal health products, bulk propane and fuel sales and delivery, and fertilizer sales and application.
