We also provide foreclosure prevention counseling and financial education/budgeting assistance. also works with grant funds from MSHDA (Michigan State Housing Development Authority) to assist homebuyers through the Home Purchase Rehab program, providing downpayment assistance and minor rehab to improve safety and energy efficiency for homes that qualify. Over the past ten years has also built 14 new homes through the MSHDA Aquistion, Development, Resale program and sold them to qualified families in St. Ignace Michigan as well as rehabbing homes for 6 first time home-buyers.
