Owners and chefs Amaila Vaca and Benjamin Landeros have been sharing their personal families Mexican recipes and catering and adapting local flavors to Santa Cruz since 1989.
The business first started as a more traditional sit down Mexican restaurant called “La Troje" located in Seabright, Ca., and later moved location further up the coast to Davenport where it reopened with a new name and and vibe. “La Cabaña,” the Cabin- a little cabin like restaurant located directly across the street from the beautiful Pacific Ocean view off Highway 1.
Today La Cabaña Taqueria continues to thrive with local love and many visitors! Now located in Santa Cruz -right before you drive up the cost, you will continue to find delicious authentic Mexican food, creative specialties, and a friendly environment.
