The Hull Maynard Agency was founded in 1978 by Hull Maynard. Hull had moved to the Rutland area in July of 1962 and had been a partner in the former Jones-Maynard Agency. The Agency has been located at 105 Center Street in Rutland across from the fire station for over 25 years. In 1991 Jill Maynard Nolan began working with her father and in February of 2003 purchased the agency from him and merged with Hersey Insurance Services, Inc. of Woodstock, VT.
Scott W. Hersey started Hersey Insurance Services, Inc. located on US Route 4 East in Woodstock, Vermont in 1994. Scott has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has worked for such companies as John Hancock and Sentry Insurance as well as being a general agent for the past sixteen years.
