Disability Resource Association (DRA) operates as a Center for Independent Living (CIL) serving individuals in Jefferson and surrounding counties who meet the criteria of the Americans with Disabilities Act, regardless of age or type of disability.
DRA became a free standing 501(c)(3) in 1998. Since that launch, DRA has grown from serving less than 100 individuals annually to over 4,000.
Disability Resource Association’s primary focus is to empower individuals to maintain an independent lifestyle and reside in their own home. As a CIL, we do not receive local tax support. All funds are the result of state and private grants, administrative fees and private donations.
