Our mission is to provide a community forum, to assess housing resources, to identify problems, and to create solutions through collaboration. We provide housing for the homeless in Licking County and offer many programs to help prevent homelessness.
LCCH is a non-profit organization that was established in 1992 by a small group of concerned citizens and local organizations. Initially assembled to assist in the development of the City of Newarkâs 1990 Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy, this group continued to meet and discuss issues of homelessness in Licking County.
Since 1992, LCCH has undertaken community planning and education activities, serving Licking County by directly addressing the need for transitional housing and housing referral services for homeless individuals and families.
Check out the Granville Farmers Market, every Saturday from 8:30 am until noon, at North Main St and Broadway in downtown Granville. LCCH will be there, selling fresh-brewed coffee from River Road Coffeehouse.
