UPDATE: 11:20 .... Water now has been shut off city wide, no timeline determined yet. BREAKING NEWS... NO WATER CLOSES SCHOOLS EARLY. An issue with a city water line is forcing Cleveland Public Schools to close at 11:30 a.m. today (Monday), superintendent Aaron Espolt told the American. Buses will run at that time, although no elementary students will be released then unless an older sibling is present to accompany them home, Espolt said. The younger children will be held at the school until a parent or guardian can pick them up. Espolt said the water issue renders useless the kitchen and lunch operations as well as the restrooms and toilets. The water line problem is located near the Golden Wu/Daylight Donuts on the southwest side of town and is affecting much of the west side. The crew working on the line said if it is "what we think it is, the water shouldn't be off long." They still are investigating. We'll let you know when all is back to normal.
