Mission Valley Eye Medical Center was founded in 1990 by Dr. Sarbjit Hundal in Fremont, California. Mission Valley Eye Medical center / Mission Valley Surgery Center is a comprehensive eye care facility providing medical, surgical, and optical eye care to residents of the Sn Francisco Bay Area. Dr Hundal opened his first Ophthalmology office in 1982 and built the new MVEC facility in 1990 to provide complete eye care under one roof. Because we own our surgery center, we are one of the most cost-competitive facility in Northern California.
Our center provides a wide variety of services including Cataract and lens implant Surgery, Multifocal lens implant (see without glasses), Laser surgery for Retinal tears, Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration, Laser procedures for Glaucoma and LASIK surgery for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism .
