Gateway Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter

14
Gateway Rescue Mission was founded by Captain Len Martin of the Jackson Fire Department in 1948. Captain Martin was compelled to help the homeless, and Gateway Rescue Mission remains faithful to the charge of helping the homeless. Offering hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Gateway Rescue Mission is committed to providing those in need with shelter, food, clothing, and rehabilitation. On any given night 100 people are off the streets and in safe shelter at a Gateway Rescue Mission facility. Our programs include 40 beds for men, 12 beds for women at Ruth´s Refuge, 52 beds for men struggling with addiction, and 3 meals a day to the homeless and hungry. Check out our website at for more information or to donate to help us help those most in need.

Gateway Rescue Mission is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and religious organization, and is 100% funded by private donations from individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses. Sales of donated items at our thrift stores in Clinton, Magee, Pearl, and Ridgeland also help support our ministry.
