By selling and marketing pieces produced by some of the country’s finest quilt artisans, Donna found distinctive ways to contribute to the designs and eventually became one of the artisans herself. By 2001, demand for Donna’s signature fabrics and color combinations grew and thereby launched her in new directions, including the fashion industry. Even in these new avenues, Donna fought to maintain her credo of luxurious products at an affordable price and thus shaped a product line unlike anything ever before seen in the marketplace.
