USA Preps is the largest instructional college camp and tournament organizer in the United States. Our first Individual Collegiate Instructional Camps™ were held in 2011 and served approximately 200 prospective college athletes. Since those early days of USA Preps we have served over 10,000 prospective college athletes. This year we are administering 18 events all over the West Coast and in Indiana and anticipate serving over 10,000 prospective college athletes this year alone!
What's the difference between a college showcase tournament and a USA Preps Collegiate Instructional Camp and tournament™?
In a typical softball college showcase event, coaches are often spread out over several different locations - each with as many as eight to twelve fields. In addition it is not unusual for these venues to be as many as 30 miles apart. The teams play and the coaches are confined to the bleachers where they watch and have little or no interaction with the prospective college athletes. At USA Preps Collegiate Instructional Camps and Tournaments™, teams play and college coaches are on the field and in the dugouts with the players giving instruction. Furthermore, the coaches are there to help players hone their existing skill set and teach new skills. Players and coaches alike get to know one another on a level not previously possible.
