Dr. Speer obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree graduating summa cum laude and class valedictorian. She elected to further specialize, obtaining her Periodontology Certificate and Master of Science Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Dentistry at Houston, TX. Dr. Speer takes pleasure in dental research, with her main interests focused on periodontal regenerative procedures, dental implants, and the inter-relationship between periodontal diseases and systemic diseases. She also serves as clinical professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences at Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX.
