TFC Recycling was the first recycling company in the Mid-Atlantic to introduce single-stream recycling. Our ability to adapt to the needs of the communities we serve sets us apart from the competition. TFC is one of the largest providers and processors of curbside recycling in the State of Virginia. We process more than 250,000 tons of recyclables every year.
In 2010, TFC introduced Recycling Perks, a reward based program that promotes recycling, rewards residents and promotes economic development with local businesses. The program has resulted in a significant increase in participation and volume from participating communities, a method of rewarding residents who participate and provided a significant “boost” in economic development by providing increased customer traffic to local establishments.
TFC is a recognized leader in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and has partnered with OmniTek to provide Diesel to Natural Gas conversions. TFC can provide assistance with the design and construction of CNG fueling and maintenance operations, train maintenance personnel on proper CNG maintenance procedures and selection of CNG related vehicles.
