For as long as the Bush family can remember, Kathleen Bush made the tastiest baked beans from her secret recipe. We used to joke, “If you put this taste in cans, it’d fly off the shelves!”

Kathleen’s son, Condon, eventually re-created her recipe for the family business, but vowed to keep it a secret. He has since passed it on to his son, Jay Bush, who has told only his dog Duke.

Today, Bush’s® is still a family business. In addition to the Secret Family Recipe, we offer a variety of delicious baked bean flavors, perfectly seasoned Grillin’ Beans and great-tasting beans like black, pinto and kidney.

Whether you’re hosting friends at a cookout or getting dinner on the table for your family, you can depend on Bush’s® Beans.

When Bush founded Bush Brothers and Company back in 1908, social networking happened on the front porch of ’s General Store. You knew your friends in real life, and if your photo was posted on the wall, it probably meant the sheriff was looking for you. Even though many things have changed since the early days of our company, some things have not. The values and Sally Bush instilled in their family still help guide our company over a hundred years later: integrity, responsibility, trust and caring are part of everything we do, including how we conduct ourselves in the digital world.
