Through education and increased awareness, Texas Center for the Missing aims to decrease child abductions and other missing child incidents in the Houston metropolitan area. When children go missing, we are dedicated to developing and deploying a more effective, cooperative response of law enforcement, search-and-rescue volunteers, and reunification resources. By offering 24-hour support and availability, Texas Center for the Missing provides aftercare and advocacy services to victims and their families to help alleviate the emotional trauma of these incidents. Despite the lack of municipal, state, or federal funds to support Houston’s Amber Plan, Texas Center for the Missing is dedicated to providing high quality services for law enforcement agencies and the community.
