Art Tile has been serving the East Bay region, including Alameda County, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Rockridge, Piedmont, Montclair and surrounding vicinity since 1985. It was founded by Royal Yates who built his vision of a friendly & knowledgeable service and a fantastic selection of Artisan Tile. Royal’s goal was to insure that everyone who walked through the door had a smile on their face by the time they left. In May 2014 Patrick Feely took over the business of Art Tile with several goals in mind: maintain the friendly atmosphere and unprecedented product knowledge while growing the assortment of tile offered.

Our business in focused on helping customers create their dream homes through the use of Tile & Stone. We offer an extensive and growing range of Natural Stone, Ceramic and Porcelain Tile and setting materials. Many of the products we offer are available within 2 weeks and about 80% of what we offer is available within 1 week. If you need product within 24 hours please inform us and we can show you some of our lines that we can get within a day. We also carry very special handmade and made-to-order unique tile that has a longer lead time.

Team Members:

Patrick Feely is the owner at Art Tile and comes from a family with 10 generations of experience in the Natural Stone Industry ( ). Patrick has managed and led quarries, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and retail stores throughout Europe. With his family’s history in the Industry and his impressive career to date, Patrick has relationships with many of the most important suppliers in the industry and looks forward to harnessing these relationships to better serve our customers. Patrick lives with his wife and 2 kids in Rockridge and looks forward to serving the community that he now calls home.

Gary Wells has been involved in the local Tile Industry for over 30 years and is the go-to person for many contractors and installers on technical tiling issues. Gary is a trained Schulter Systems advocate, has installed tile for many years and has a wealth of knowledge on many of the technical issues that arise with the installation of Tile & Stone. Please consider Gary your point person for questions to do with Grout, Setting Materials, Cleaning and Sealing, Waterproofing, Schluter Systems, Shower Niche Installation and much more.

Marta Huertas hails from Colombia and is well known in the community as a resource of choice for design and product questions. Marta has worked in the local area for the past 8 years.
