Deer Run Golf Club, just a short drive from Ocean City MD, offers the golfer a great golf experience. Located on route 50 just west of Berlin, MD., Deer Run presents a number of challenges for every level of golfer. The mission statement at Deer Run is to offer a championship golf course at affordable prices with great service.

Open since May, 1998, Deer Run Golf Club is a par 73 championship golf course. This routing offers the golfer a championship golfing experience coupled with a speedy pace of play. The new course is designed by the "Whole in One Design" company (designers of the Easton Club and Cambridge Country Club golf courses), and challenges golfers with varied lengths ranging from 110 yds to 595 yds. Accuracy is at a premium for this layout, and the green sizes are huge, requiring correct club selection into the well bunkered greens. Featured holes on the championship 19 include four par 5's each well over 500 yds. Add several long par 4's and par 3's ranging up to 205 yds. And you have a true test of golf. Deer Run's signature hole is No. 16 which is an island green. Six multi-acre lakes make this a beautiful golfers paradise. There truly is nothing like it on the eastern shore!

Deer Run also boasts the finest golf teaching facility in the Ocean City Maryland area. The driving range features 5,000 square feet of Bermuda grass tee from which to practice. Target greens and a 30 yd. measured fairway give the practice enthusiast plenty of diversity for learning. Our island target green will sharpen everyone's wedge play.
A large putting green and chipping area plus an par 3 practice hole complete this practice facility which is second to none. The Deer Run Golf Academy consists of two or three days of intense instruction. Individual and group instruction is also available, and clinics are held daily. Video instruction is available with comparison to various tour swings. Deer Run' instructors are also well known club fitters and feature custom clubs. Rounding out the staff of professionals is a master club maker who uses the latest technology to repair a favorite club, build individual clubs, or to create a matched set to your specifications.
