The Children's Chorus of San Antonio
The Children's Chorus of San Antonio was founded in 1983 to enrich and expand the experiences of young people ages 5-18 in greater San Antonio through choral singing and performance. Comprised of over 450 young artists, CCSA serves the city’s diverse and vibrant community through year-round programming, various concerts, and collaborations with the San Antonio Symphony, YOSA and others. CCSA singers have toured Europe and Canada, performed in Carnegie Hall and Cathédral of Notre Dame, and have been featured on NBC-TV's Today Show. In addition to six performing ensembles, CCSA consists of Music Together™, an early childhood music and movement program that also reaches families at Haven for Hope, and Project: Sing!, tuition-free choirs that engage underserved children with inspiring musical experiences in their own neighborhoods. From infants to young adults, CCSA constantly strives to enrich, transform, and empower the next generation of singers and leaders.
