Global Ties Arizona is part of the designated programming arm for the US Department of State's International Visitor Leadership program. We arrange professional activities in the metropolitan Phoenix area for foreign dignitaries who are sponsored by the US Government to visit the United States in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas, values and cultures. The program is considered one of the most successful foreign relations tools available by US Embassies around the world. Each year over 5,000 visitors are sponsored, and there have been 330 foreign heads of state that have participated in the program. Global Ties Arizona designs and organizes professional appointments which reflect the goals of both the visitor, the foreign policy aims of the State Department, and further mutual understanding and global friendship.
