Back in 1988 while working for Westin Hotels, I became aware that colleges and universities were hosting all kinds of conferences and meetings during the summer months when the students were gone. I figured that if I didn't know much about this, neither did most meeting planners. So, I started a print directory called: The Guide to Convening on Campus. It's now 27 years later and we've evolved beyond just a print directory. It's been an incredible, rewarding journey. Our goal is promote our non-traditional sites to anyone looking to host a meeting, family reunion, reception, party, conference or gathering of any kind. While we've expanded to include all kinds of unique sites throughout the US, Canada and even the UK, our college and university members will always hold a special place within our company for helping to get us started.
